Tessellate acoustic wall panels are  a bright and flexible acoustic panel system which can be installed flush against the wall.

Acoustic wall panels are designed to reduce unwanted sound by absorbing sound waves rather than reflecting them. Here’s how they work:

Sound Absorption: Acoustic panels are typically made of materials with porous surfaces such as foam, fiberglass, or specialized fabric wrapped around an absorptive core. When sound waves hit these panels, they penetrate the porous surface and enter the panel’s core. Within the core, the sound energy is converted into tiny amounts of heat through friction and vibration, effectively reducing the intensity of the sound.

Reflection Reduction: Unlike hard surfaces like walls or ceilings, which can reflect sound waves and cause reverberation or echo, acoustic panels absorb sound energy, preventing it from bouncing back into the room. This reduces the overall level of noise in the space and improves speech intelligibility.

Frequency Control: Acoustic panels can be designed to target specific frequencies depending on the material used and the panel’s thickness and density. This allows for more precise control over the acoustics of a room, addressing particular frequency ranges where sound issues may be most problematic.

Placement: Strategic placement of acoustic panels is crucial for effective sound control. Panels are typically installed on walls and ceilings in locations where sound reflection and reverberation are significant. Placing panels at first reflection points, corners, and other areas where sound tends to accumulate can maximize their effectiveness.

Overall, acoustic wall panels provide an effective solution for reducing unwanted sound by absorbing sound energy, controlling reflections, and improving the overall acoustics of a space.
